JBS S.A. (BOVESPA:JBSS3) made an offer to acquire Excelsior Alimentos S.A. (BOVESPA:BAUH4) from Marfrig Global Foods S.A. (BOVESPA:MRFG3) and Baumhardt Comercio e Participacoes Ltda. and others on October 30, 2013. As of June 16, 2014, CVM granted the registration of the tender offer.

JBS S.A. (BOVESPA:JBSS3) cancelled the acquisition of Excelsior Alimentos S.A. (BOVESPA:BAUH4) from Marfrig Global Foods S.A. (BOVESPA:MRFG3) and Baumhardt Comercio e Participacoes Ltda. and others on July 21, 2014. After the termination of the period for adhesion to the tender offer, on July 21, 2014, no adhesion by any shareholder of common shares of Excelsior under the tender offer was verified.
