Çimtaş Steel (Çimtaş Çelik), a subsidiary of ENKA, once again broke its own annual production record, which the company has increased step by step in recent years, with an output of 76,500 tons in 2020. Çimtaş Çelik, which undertook, in 2018, the engineering, procurement, production and shipment of all permanent steel elements of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which is in the portfolio of the company and will take the title of 'The world's longest main span suspension bridge'; completed the steel tower blocks and trial assembly works of the steel towers of the bridge in 2020 in accordance with the project schedule and the blocks were shipped to the assembly point. The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which will cross the Dardanelles between Lapseki and Gelibolu, will have a height of 318 m, a main span of 2,023 m and a total length of 4,608 m.
