Enel and Costa Cruises have signed a memorandum of understanding on sustainable maritime transport.
The understanding, a joint note explains, will focus on the possibility of promoting projects to reduce emissions when cruise ships enter and leave ports and during quayside stops, through electrification systems.
The collaboration may also be extended abroad in the countries of the two groups' presence, particularly Spain.
