The Dow Chemical Company announced that Amy E. Wilson has been elected corporate secretary by the Board of Directors, effective February 1, 2015, and has been named assistant general counsel. She replaces Charles J. Kalil in the role, who will continue as executive vice president and general counsel. Wilson continues to report to Kalil.

Wilson joined Dow's Legal Department in 2000 in Purchasing and Human Resources Law. In 2002, she transferred to the Corporate and Financial Law section and in 2006 she moved to Dow's Europe legal department in Horgen, Switzerland. Upon her return from Europe in 2008, she joined the Office of the Corporate Secretary and was elected assistant secretary by the Board of Directors.

Wilson was named director of the Office of the Corporate Secretary in 2013. Prior to joining Dow, Wilson was an attorney at the firm of Currie Kendall, PC.
