Dominion announced the promotions of seven individuals to the position of vice president. All promotions took effect Jan. 1, 2014.

Corynne Arnett, vice president-Financial Management (Dominion Generation), reports to Steven A. Rogers, senior vice president-Financial Management (Dominion Generation). She has primary responsibility for the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the company's generation business. Arnett joined Dominion in 1997 and has held positions in the company's tax, accounting and investment relations departments.

Michael D. Frederick, vice president-LNG Operations, reports to Diane Leopold, president-Dominion Energy. He will oversee operations at Dominion's Cove Point liquefied natural gas terminal in Lusby, Md. Frederick joined the company in 1982 and has held numerous positions in engineering and operations for the company's gas transmission business, as well as planning and reliability work at Dominion Virginia Power.

Lee D. Katz, vice president and general auditor, reporting to Farrell, is responsible for objectively evaluating the effectiveness of the company's risk management, internal control and governance processes. He began working for Dominion in 1997 and has held roles in accounting and financial analysis. Mark D. Mitchell, vice president-Generation Construction, reports to Paul E. Ruppert, senior vice president-Business Development and Generation Construction, and is responsible for project management on new generation projects.

He has been with Dominion for 15 years and has developed and executed new electric generation projects and managed projects for existing power stations. Brian C. Sheppard, vice president-Pipeline Operations, also reports to Leopold. His duties include Dominion Transmission's natural gas pipeline and storage operations.

Sheppard joined Dominion in 1988 and he has been responsible for engineering, gas liquids extraction and gas exploration and production business development, among other things, throughout his career. Alma W. Showalter, vice president-Tax, reports to G. Scott Hetzer, senior vice president and treasurer. She was hired by Dominion in 2001 and during her career has served in a number of leadership capacities in the company's tax department.

Chester G. "Chet" Wade, vice president-Corporate Communications, reports to Daniel A. Weekley, vice president-Corporate Affairs. He leads the company's media relations, digital communications, executive communications and employee communications efforts. Wade joined the company in 1993 and served in several communications leadership roles prior to his promotion.
