Mynavi Corporation, Teito Investments Fund, L.P., Culture Entertainment Co., Ltd., TRANSACTION CO.,Ltd. (TSE:7818), Hideto Fujino, Yu Katayama and Yoshikazu Higashi agreed to acquire 34.56% stake in W TOKYO, Inc. from DLE Inc. (TSE:3686) for ¥1.4 billion on June 20, 2019. DLE Inc. will transfer 0.04 million shares to the buyers. TRANSACTION CO.,Ltd will acquire 7500 shares and will pay ¥277 million for the acquisition of its stake. Post completion of the transaction, DLE Inc. will hold 19.82% stake in W TOKYO and it will cease to be the subsidiary of DLE Inc. For the fiscal year ended June 2018, W TOKYO, Inc. reported net assets of ¥397 million, total assets of ¥2.69 billion, sales of ¥3.3 billion and operating income of ¥146 million. The planned share transfer execution date is June 28, 2019.

DLE Inc. is principally engaged in the operation of fast entertainment business covering the ranges from newly development of intellectual property (IP), to the planning and development of smart phone applications and marketing services utilizing the social characters, the planning and production of video contents, and the planning and implementation of media development plans. The Social Communication segment is principally engaged in the planning and proposal of advertisements and marketing plans, the production and provision of television commercials and Internet video advertisements, the planning, development and provision of games and stamps for social networking service (SNS), and smart phone applications utilizing the social features of characters, as well as the distribution of films. The IP Creation segment is engaged in the planning, development and production of video contents of IP, as well as the planning and implementation of comprehensive post-production promotion plans.
