(Alliance News) - Datrix Spa reported Monday that its subsidiary ByTek has reported positive results from its collaboration with Lancôme, a L'Oréal SA group company.

Lancôme, an iconic brand in the cosmetics industry, has chosen ByTek since 2021 to improve its digital presence and increase revenue from organic search. The main goals were clear from the beginning: optimize the site, increase organic sessions, and increase revenue from search engines.

The results of the collaboration are undoubtedly positive, with significant year-over-year increases: suffice it to say that the second half of 2022 saw increases of 9 percent in sessions and 31 percent in revenue, and the growth trend has strengthened further with a first half of 2023 that has increases of 16 percent in sessions and 39 percent in revenue to its credit.

"After the site migration, we focused on recovering lost traffic and consolidating Lancôme's presence on unbranded keys, achieving a 43% increase over the previous year. Today, the focus is on consolidating performance related to branded search keys and expanding online presence on more generic keys," said Emiliano Sammassimo, Head of SEO at ByTek.

"The results are positive in terms of both organic clicks and sessions and on the revenue growth side. We are proud of these results and will continue our determined efforts to support prestige brands in achieving their online goals through continued research in innovation, technology and Artificial Intelligence."

Datrix's stock Monday closed down 0.6 percent at EUR1.67 per share.
