BROOKINGS, S.D. - Jan. 7, 2014 - Gentile Arena, home of the Loyola University Ramblers, received two new LED video displays designed and manufactured by Daktronics (Nasdaq - DAKT) of Brookings, S.D. The displays were installed in August of 2013 in Chicago, Ill.

"The installation of the Daktronics LED boards in Gentile Arena has helped us to improve the fan experience during our sporting events," said Patrick Schultz, Associate Athletics Director. "In addition, we have been able to increase the visibility of our existing sponsors and aid in the procurement of new sponsorships."

The two end wall video displays measure approximately 9 feet high by 16.5 wide and feature 6 millimeter line spacing. These displays are capable of showing one large image to highlight live video and instant replays. They can also be divided into separate windows to show a variety of vivid graphics, colorful animations, up-to-the-minute statistics, scoring information and sponsor advertisements.

These displays incorporate excellent image clarity and contrast with wide angle visibility providing every fan with an ideal view of all the in-game action.

Daktronics included its powerful Show Control System with this installation. This industry-leading system provides a combination of display control software, world-class video processing, data integration and playback hardware that forms a user-friendly production solution.
