Daikoku Denki Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter of fiscal year ending March 31, 2020. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 18,643 million compared to JPY 14,230 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,302 million compared to JPY 872 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 1,421 million compared to JPY 1,005 million a year ago. Net income attributable to equities of parent was JPY 912 million or JPY61.71 per share compared to JPY 637 million or JPY 43.12per share a year ago.
The company affirms earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 34,000 million, operating income of JPY 1,200 million, ordinary income of JPY 1,250 million and net income of JPY 800 million or JPY 54.12 per share.
