Sable Mining Africa Limited announced further encouraging assay results from the company's recently completed expansion exploration programme at the Nimba Iron Ore Project in south-east Guinea. Further highly encouraging assay results demonstrating high grade canga in the expansion area, including: 28.5m @ 58.5% iron ('Fe') (includes 4.0m of cavities), 19.5m @ 59.7% Fe (includes 1.0m of cavities), 15.4m @ 60.8% Fe, 17.8m @ 58.6% Fe (includes 4.0m of cavities). Latest results received from 14 diamond drill holes on Plateau 2 - assays from 21 holes of the total 25 exploration diamond drill holes on Plateau 2 now received and processed.

Drill programme on extension area is anticipated to significantly enhance the current JORC Code compliant Mineral Resource of 135.5Mt at an in-situ grade of 59.4%. Canga mineralized extension area is approximately 200m wide and up to 3.9km long with an adjusted exploration target of between 35Mt and 70Mt, taken from Plateau 2 and Plateau 3 - tonnes adjusted to cater for cavities being identified within the ore· Inclusion of extension area exploration target brings total Nimba Plateaux 2 and 3 exploration target to up to 200Mt, which the company is targeting to delineate before the end of the fourth quarter of 2013. Remaining batches from Plateau 2 and Plateau 3 drill holes delivered to Ultratrace laboratory in Perth - further results to be released in due course.
