Coca-Cola European Partners plc (ENXTAM:CCE) seeks acquisitions. The company’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Manik H. Jhangiani said, “So absent anything from an M&A perspective, the first angle is clearly to invest in the business, which we have continued to do, whether its coolers, route to market, sales force capabilities, digital, etcetera. Second is we have committed to increasing our dividend payout, so we'll take that to 50%. We see that as a competitive level. And then beyond that, I think we will continue to evaluate both share buybacks and a special dividend, and I don't think it needs to be one or the other. It could be a combination thereof. And the only other point I would make, there could be territorial acquisitions, capability acquisitions, brand acquisitions that we might do jointly with The Coca-Cola Company, and some of those might be paced, too. So it doesn't mean you do, it's not a binary decision, I do acquisitions or I do cash returns. I think we can do a combination of the 2”.
