China Television Company, Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 191.786 million compared to TWD 184.510 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 68.849 million compared to TWD 112.797 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 53.226 million compared to TWD 95.368 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.35 compared to TWD 0.63 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 551.412 million compared to TWD 541.758 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 219.995 million compared to TWD 350.280 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 183.752 million compared to TWD 219.472 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.22 compared to TWD 1.87 a year ago.
China Television Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision of television advertising services. The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
