CHANGE OF FINANCIAL YEAR END DATE

This announcement is made by China New Higher Education Group Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries and consolidated affiliated entities, the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.51(4) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company would like to announce that it has resolved to change the financial year end date of the Company from 31 December to 31 August (the "Change"). Accordingly, the next financial year end date of the Group will be 31 August 2020 and the next audited consolidated financial statements of the Group to be published will be in respect of the 8-month period from 1 January 2020 to 31 August 2020.

REASONS FOR THE CHANGE

The Change is to align the financial year end date of the Group with the academic year of the schools operated by the Group in the People's Republic of China, which ends in August each year. The Board considers that the Change will facilitate the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the Group and to better reflect the operational results of the Group for the financial year.

To the best of its knowledge, belief and information, the Board does not foresee any material adverse impact on the Group resulting from the Change and there is no other significant matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company in this regard.

SUBSEQUENT FINANCIAL REPORTING

The Company will announce the unaudited interim results of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2020 on or before 31 August 2020 and will publish and dispatch the relevant interim report to the shareholders of the Company on or before 30 September 2020. Following the Change, the Company will announce and publish its financial results with respect to the following financial periods on or before the following deadlines:
