CHIeru Co.,Ltd. (JASDAQ:3933) agreed to acquire 20% stake in Edit Inc. on April 28, 2021. Edit Inc. reported net assets of ¥26 million, total assets of ¥102 million, sales ¥225 million and net income of ¥30 million for the year ended September 30, 2020. The board of directors resolved the transaction on April 28, 2021. The transaction is expected to complete on May 31, 2021.
CHIeru Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in school education ICT (information and communication technology ) business. The Company is engaged in planning, development, production and sale of systems and digital teaching materials for markets such as elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, universities and professional schools. The products and services for the high school, university and vocational school markets are based on the lecture support field, teaching material cloud service field, and operation management system field. The products and services for the elementary and junior high school markets are mainly based on the areas of class support and teaching materials.
