Chia Yi Steel Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 219.426 million compared to TWD 362.094 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 5.454 million compared to operating Income of TWD 27.064 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 26.103 million compared to net income of TWD 20.040 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.58 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.44 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 719.415 million compared to TWD 1,094.533 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 13.802 million compared to operating Income of TWD 51.455 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 31.398 million compared to net income of TWD 46.240 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.7 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 1.03 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 0.7 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 1.02 a year ago.
