Chia Yi Steel Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 241.905 million compared to TWD 342.077 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 12.956 million compared to operating Income of TWD 6.066 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 8.979 million compared to net income of TWD 4.666 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.2 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.1 a year ago.
CHIA YI STEEL CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the forging, processing and distribution of casting iron products. The Company primarily involves in the manufacture and precision processing of iron products, which are applied in mechanical parts, electric motor parts, automobile parts, oil pressure parts and other hardware and spare parts, among others. The Company also offers molds and customer-tailored precision processing services. The Company distributes its products mainly in Asia, the Americas and other regions.
