Central Plains Bancshares, Inc. is a holding company for Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Grand Island, which operates under the name Home Federal Bank (the Bank). Home Federal Bank is a federally chartered mutual savings association whose primary business is providing mortgage, consumer, commercial real estate, and commercial loans in the Grand Island, Nebraska area, with additional lending opportunities through the Association's participation network of banks in Nebraska and other states, and acquiring consumer and commercial deposits to fund these investments. The Bank conducts its operations through six branch offices located in Grand Island, Hastings, Holdrege, Lexington and Superior, Nebraska; a drive-up facility in Grand Island, Nebraska, and a loan production office in Lincoln, Nebraska.
