Tokan Co.,Ltd. (NSE:7648) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 100,000 shares, representing 1.75% of its share capital, for ¥200 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to implement a flexible capital policy which responds to changes in the business environment. The share repurchase program will run until September 22, 2017. As of May 10, 2017, the company had 5,710,200 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 1,339,800 shares in treasury.
