The board of Spanish infrastructure operator Cellnex Board said it has selected Marco Patuano, former CEO of Telecom Italia (TIM), to take over as its new chief executive starting on 04 June. Patuano was previously chairman of Cellnex for a year -- from July 2018 to July 2019 -- as representative of the Benetton family holding company Edizione, which remains the second largest shareholder of the Spanish operator, behind activist hedge fund TCI with 9%.
