The Philippines' largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) continues its commitment to boost travel to and from Cebu with a P288 seat sale from January 21 to 23, 2012. This is for travel from February 1 to March 31, 2012.

P288 seats are up for grabs from Cebu to Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Caticlan, Clark, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Legazpi, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban or Zamboanga.

"CEB provides very convenient direct access to and from Cebu, so passengers can choose among the lowest fares, and the most number of flights, routes and destinations. With CEB's trademark fun flights and extensive route network, the strong demand for flights between Cebu and key cities in the country and in Asia," said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

The airline earlier announced additional flights from Cebu starting February 8, 2012 to the following destinations: Manila (11 weekly flights), Boracay (4 weekly flights), Dipolog (3 weekly flights), Legazpi (4 weekly flights), Pagadian (2 weekly flights), and Siargao (1 weekly flight).

It will also increase seat capacity from Cebu to Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo and General Santos on the same dates. These routes will now utilize Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.

CEB also introduces thrice weekly Cebu-Kalibo flights starting February 24, 2012, and adds four times weekly Iloilo-Cagayan de Oro-Iloilo flights starting February 8, 2012.

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 19 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 37 aircraft - with an average age of 3.6 years - is one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 23 Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders, and 2 Airbus A320 aircraft on operating lease agreements.
