CAIRO, Ga. January 10, 2014 -- Capital City Bank announces Chip Wells has joined its team of bankers at the Cairo Office, located at 420 N. Broad Street. As a community banker, he will focus on serving his clients' account needs and providing assistance with a full range of financial services, including loans.

Wells comes to Capital City Bank from United National Bank where he served the last nine years as a consumer and commercial loan officer. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and the Georgia School of Banking at the University of Georgia.

A dedicated member of his community, Wells generously donates his time with a number of local organizations. He currently serves as assistant district governor for the Cairo Rotary Club, District 6900 and is a board member of the Cairo Recreation LLC.
