Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) extends by two weeks, until February 16th, the period when the Romanian entrepreneurial companies can be nominated to Made in Romania - BVB League project. Similar to first edition, BVB has noticed a high interest in this project and a growing number of nominations coming in the last few days, from across the country, from Romanian entrepreneurs, as well as employees of Romanian companies, on the project's dedicated website: www.bvbleague.ro.

The growing interest in Made in Romania is also due to the support offered by the members of the Nomination Committee, Jury members, as well as companies that entered BVB League in the first edition of Made in Romania, held last year.

'We are pleased to see that Made in Romania is a successful program, both by the fact that some of the companies that entered last year in the BVB League have announced their intention of listing, as well as the fact that the companies in the BVB League now recommend to other entrepreneurs to join Made in Romania program,' stated Adrian Tanase, BVB CEO.

Already at its second edition, Made in Romania is a unique project that aims to identify and promote the Romanian entrepreneurship. During 2018, the partners that will be supporting the project are Banca Transilvania Group, Horváth & Partners, Mazars, NNDKP and Tradeville.

'In addition to image and marketing benefits, the companies that join BVB League benefit from the know-how of Made in Romania's partners. This mentoring program is designed to stimulate innovation processes and good practices within companies to help them grow. Through Made in Romania, we managed to bring to the spotlights the Romanian entrepreneurial companies that were less known,' said Lucian Anghel, President of the Board of Governors of BVB.

After the nominations' deadline, BVB together with the Nomination Committee members will select 50 companies to enter the final stage where a Jury of 12 experts will select 14 companies. The 15th company will be chosen by the people, based on a public vote that will be opened between March 19th and April 3rd on the project's website. The final list of selected companies that enter BVB League will be announced in April during the Made in Romania Gala.

These companies will enter into a mentoring program available from May to November 2018 that will cover topics such as marketing and branding, strategy and innovation, audit and financing development. Depending on each month's theme, there will be workshops, trainings and meetings dedicated to the teams and employees of the selected companies.

Made in Romania was launched by the Bucharest Stock Exchange in February 2017, with the purpose of identifying and promoting Romania's top companies. Bucharest Stock Exchange's goal behind the Made in Romania project is to identify the future drivers of Romanian economy and support them throughout a full year in order to help them bring their businesses to the next level by improving transparency, visibility, reputation and, most importantly, gaining access to capital needed for further growth and development.

The participation in this project is free of charge and voluntary. The companies that were nominated by third parties will be informed about their nomination and their approval will be required in order to participate in this project. More information about the project, its timeline as well as the submission form are available on the dedicated website: www.bvbleague.ro.
