Bunzl plc announced that David Sleath, who has served as a non-executive director since September 2007, will retire from the board at the conclusion of the company's Annual General Meeting on April 19, 2017. The company also announced that Lloyd Pitchford has been appointed as non-executive director with effect from March 1, 2017. Having previously held a number of senior finance positions with BG Group plc, latterly as Group Financial Controller, he subsequently joined Intertek Group plc, where he was Chief Financial Officer from 2010 until 2014, and is presently Chief Financial Officer of Experian plc. Upon David Sleath's retirement, Lloyd Pitchford will become Chairman of the Audit Committee and Vanda Murray will assume the role of Senior Independent Director.
