Bunny's Limited reported un-audited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported sales – net of PKR 626,142,194 compared to PKR 590,761,325 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 76,462,709 compared to PKR 62,113,902 a year ago. Profit for the period was PKR 41,226,102 or PKR 0.80 per basic and diluted share compared to PKR 36,742,208 or PKR 0.71 per basic and diluted share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported sales – net of PKR 1,839,756,520 compared to PKR 1,752,700,152 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 197,185,323 compared to PKR 190,478,967 a year ago. Profit for the period was PKR 118,178,538 or PKR 2.30 per basic and diluted share compared to PKR 116,247,374 or PKR 2.26 per basic and diluted share a year ago.
Bunny's Limited is the maker of bakery products in Pakistan. The Company is principally engaged in the manufacturing of bakery and other food products. The Companyâs products offer bread, which includes buns, shawarma bread, and bread crumbs; rusk, including cake rusk, cumin rusk, garlic rusk, bran rusk, and classic rusk; cakes, which include plain and fruit cakes; and snacks, which offers spicy mix, daal moong, daal sev, nimboo daal, potato sticks, nimko mix hot and spicy, nimko mix lemon and chili, Lahori nimko, shahi nimko, masoor masala, and salt and pepper nimko. The Companyâs bakery division has an actual production capacity of approximately 12,550 metric tons. The Company's snacks division has an actual production capacity of approximately 915 metric tons. The Companyâs factory is situated in Lahore. The Company is also involved in co-manufacturing with Pepsi Co.
