The board of Brown Advisory US Smaller Companies PLC announced the appointment of Ruth Beechey as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 July 2024. Ruth will bring considerable expertise to the Board given her long career as a lawyer in the fund management industry. Her roles included Associate Counsel at Deutsche Asset Management 1998 - 2000, Head of Legal at UBS Asset Management UK 2000-2017 and Chief of Staff at UBS Asset Management UK 2017 - 2023.

She is also a Non-Executive Director at Investor Forum.
