Swedish Transport Administration and Bravida have signed a second contract regarding the Stockholm Bypass Project. The contract includes water and wastewater and fixed fire extinguishing and has an order value of approximately SEK 1.15 billion. It will connect the southern and northern parts of the Stockholm County, relieving the city’s arterial roads of traffic. Bravida has now signed the contract for Project FSE902, which was awarded to Bravida on August 28, 2018. The contract includes all installations within water and wastewater and fixed fire extinguishing. It will be registered to the order intake during the first quarter 2019. The order value is approximately SEK 1.15 billion. Bravida has previously signed a contract including all installations within power supply lighting and general ventilation and cooling (FSE902). The combined order value for the contracts is more than SEK 2.7 billion. Bravida’s part in the project will begin in the first half of 2019 with a three-year design and planning phase, followed by two years of production. After testing and deployment of the technical systems, the tunnel is planned to be opened in 2026. After the opening, Bravida will be responsible for operations and maintenance for additional two years.
