Bosun Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 385.660 million compared to CNY 223.374 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 74.634 million compared to CNY 31.772 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 58.083 million compared to CNY 24.901 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.11 compared to CNY 0.06 a year ago.
BOSUN Co., Ltd., formerly BOSUN TOOLS CO., LTD., is principally engaged in the production and sales of diamond tools, electric power tools and alloy tools. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Diamond Tools segment mainly includes diamond circular saw blades, diamond engineering thin wall drills, diamond grinding plates, diamond cutters, tile processing tools and others. The Electric Power Tools segment primarily includes angle grinders, grinding machines, rotary hammers, engineering drills, saw machine and others. The Alloy Tools segment mainly includes hard alloy circular saw blades and carbide cutters. The Company is also engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sales of coated abrasive products. Its coated abrasive products mainly include sandpaper and sandcloth. It is also engaged in rail transit equipment parts business. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
