Carrefour announced today that it has renewed the foundations of its relationship with the Bel group, via a commercial agreement signed on February 1, 'at the service of healthy and sustainable food for all, and the preservation of the climate'.

The measures taken together form a comprehensive foundation serving consumers, respecting the dairy industry, and focused on the climate transition limited to 1.5 degrees.

Since 2020, the two companies have continued to strengthen their collaboration around societal and environmental issues that have become increasingly important in consumer expectations.

In particular, Bel is part of Carrefour's Food Transition Pact, the cross-industry working group launched on biodiversity, and also participates in the 20 Megatons Platform launched by Carrefour on Scope 3 indirect emissions.
