(OTCPK:BROE) entered into an agreement to acquire right, title and interest in certain oil and gas interests in Frio and LaSalle County from Ricochet Energy, Inc., Vaquillas Energy East Pearsall, Ltd., LLP, Vaquillas Energy Re-Entry Ltd., LLP, JOB Energy Partners II, Ltd., JOB Energy Partners II, Ltd., Lord's Energy, Ltd., Hubberd-Smith Energy Investments, Ltd., Nettleship Energy Investments, Ltd., Laredo Gateway Energy, Ltd. and Borden Jenkins for $7.9 million on May 29, 2014. Baron Energy acquired working interests ranging from 89.10% to 100% in 8,060 gross acres, 14 producing wells, and 1 salt-water disposal well. Gordon D. Dihle of Corporate Legal acted as legal advisor to Baron Energy, Inc. Overton Capital Corp. acted as exclusive financial advisor for Baron Energy.
