MICHELLE TREDENICK TO RETIRE

Thursday, 24 September 2020, Brisbane: The Board of the Bank of Queensland (BOQ) today announced Non-Executive Director, Michelle Tredenick has decided to retire from the Board at the conclusion of the 2020 Annual General Meeting in December.

Ms Tredenick was appointed to the BOQ Board in February 2011 and later that year, took on the role of Chair of the Information Technology Committee.

Chairman Mr Patrick Allaway said: "Michelle has made a significant contribution to BOQ during her term. In particular, we would like to acknowledge her role as Chair of the Information Technology Committee where she has provided guidance and oversight of the delivery of Phase 1 of the Virgin Money Australia digital bank and BOQ's core infrastructure cloud modernisation, key planks of our digital transformation.

We would also like to acknowledge Michelle's significant governance experience and contribution over many years as a member of each of the People, Culture & Remuneration, Risk, Audit and Nomination & Governance Committees. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Michelle for her commitment to BOQ and its shareholders and to wish her all the best for the future."

Ms Tredenick said: "It has been a privilege to serve on the Board and I look back on my time here with gratitude having commenced my professional Non-Executive Director career with BOQ. I wish the Board and the Management team success in the next stage of the transformation journey.
