EBRD awarded Bank Forum for its activity

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development made a special mention of the activity of Bank Forum Commerzbank Group on financing projects aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of its client companies. Thereby EBRD has awarded Bank Forum in the nomination "Project for small and medium business with high demonstration value".

Bank Forum Commerzbank Group has been cooperating with EBRD within the Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Programme (UKEEP) since 2008. During this time Bank Forum has provided financing to a number of projects totaling over 16 million USD.

"This award is an honor for us. It is no secret that the issue of natural resources conservation is very acute at the moment. Bank Forum, as a socially responsible company, can not remain aloof from the issues of energy efficiency. For 4 years we have been providing credit support to local enterprises seeking to modernize its production with the aim of decreasing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. And we will continue to support projects aimed at supporting the domestic environment. We still have a lot to do for the next generations of Ukrainians to breathe clean air," said Vadym Berezovyk, Chairman of the Board of Bank Forum Commerzbank Group.
