Team Bactiguard expands with Tsegai Gebremeskel
From January 2018, Team Bactiguard has a new member, the young and very promising tennis player Tsegai Gebremeskel. By supporting Team Bactiguard, the medical device company Bactiguard is one of the major sponsors of Swedish tennis.
'It feels great to be able to practice and compete with a team behind me. To be selected as a player of Team Bactiguard means a lot to me. The help from Bactiguard makes it possible to develop further and compete internationally, at the same time I enjoy that we are a team of high performing players, coaches and mentors that pushes each other', says Tsegai Gebremeskel.
'The opportunity of identifying and developing some of the world's best tennis players from a young age and at the same time inspire other youngsters to focus on health and sports, is the goal of this unique venture in Swedish tennis. We are therefore pleased that Team Bactiguard now expands with Tsegai, a promising young player who now has a better opportunity to realize his dreams', explains Christian Kinch, CEO of Bactiguard.
Since 2012, Bactiguard has been a proud sponsor of its own team of promising young tennis players called Team Bactiguard, a venture within Good to Great Tennis Academy founded by Magnus Norman, Nicklas Kulti and Mikael Tillström. They have a background as professional tennis players, ranked among the best in the world and have all won the Davis Cup for Sweden.
Bactiguard is very proud of our team of promising young tennis players, including Isac Strömberg, Arslan Temirhanov, Måns Dahlberg and Henrik Bladelius, and now also Tsegai Gebremeskel.
By supporting promising 13-14-year-old athletes, Bactiguard wants to contribute to the development of future tennis talents in Sweden. The sponsorship makes it possible for the players in Team Bactiguard to engage in both tennis and physical training, and supports medical network linked to the team, in parallel with their studies. The players perform at a high international standard and the venture gives them the opportunity to practice and compete in a world-class environment.
Elias Ymer, Mikael Ymer, Daniel Windahl and Fred Simonsson, who all have played and represented Sweden in the Davis Cup, are former players of Team Bactiguard.
Bactiguard values health, whether it is by preventing infections or promoting a healthy lifestyle. With Team Bactiguard, Bactiguard hopes to inspire both young people and adults to focus on health and sport.
