Atul Ltd. announced unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 8,036.8 million against INR 6,762.5 million a year ago. Total income was INR 8,041.8 million against INR 6,793.0 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 988.1 million against INR 827.7 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 659.9 million against INR 585.8 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share for continuing operations were INR 22.25 against INR 19.75 a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 22,809.8 million against INR 20,896.5 million a year ago. Total income was INR 22,937.8 million against INR 21,074.4 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 20,389.8 million against INR 18,035.5 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 1,704.9 million against INR 2,214.4 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share for continuing operations were INR 57.48 against INR 74.66 a year ago.
