Atos announced on Thursday night that it had been informed by David Layani, founder of the Onepoint company, of his resignation with immediate effect from his position on the Board of Directors.

Helen Lee Bouygues has also informed the IT services group of her resignation from the Board of Directors, Atos said in a statement.

David Layani and Helen Lee Bouygues have also informed the company of their intention to divest Onepoint from Atos.

On Wednesday, Atos announced the end of negotiations with Onepoint, its largest shareholder, with a view to its financial restructuring, allowing Czech businessman Daniel Kretinsky, whose offer had been rejected, to re-enter the discussions.

Atos is currently in discussions with its creditors to restructure its debt, which it still intends to finalize in July. This process is proving complicated, as several asset disposals have already failed.

David Layani and Helen Lee Bouygues joined the Atos Board of Directors in February.
