Atlas Battery Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was PKR 7,982.5 million compared to PKR 4,545.98 million a year ago. Net income was PKR 301.12 million compared to PKR 50.97 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PKR 8.6 compared to PKR 1.46 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was PKR 16,378.91 million compared to PKR 9,839.1 million a year ago. Net income was PKR 790.82 million compared to PKR 205.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PKR 22.58 compared to PKR 5.86 a year ago.
Atlas Battery Limited is a Pakistan-based company engaged in the manufacturing and sale of automotive and motorcycle batteries and allied products. The Company manufactures a range of lead acid batteries suitable for passenger cars, trucks, tractors, heavy vehicles, motorcycles, construction and road-building equipment, as well as stationary and industrial applications.
