BURLINGTON, Vt., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Mobility announced
a Job Fair designed to help fill nearly 75 open company positions in the state
of Vermont including jobs in retail sales, sales management and wireless
network operations.
These new positions are a direct result of AT&T Mobility's December 2008
acquisition of Unicel assets in Vermont. The company is in the process of
adding additional staff to its ten legacy Unicel stores across the state. Late
last week, the company announced that it will begin offering the full slate of
AT&T Mobility products and services -- including the highly anticipated iPhone
3G -- at company-owned retail locations in Vermont on January 15.
"Our company is growing in many areas, particularly our wireless business.
We are thrilled to expand our employee base in Vermont," said William Leahy,
vice president of Atlantic region legislative and regulatory affairs for AT&T
Services, Inc. "Ultimately, we are looking for individuals who have equal
passion for both customer service and new technologies."
Candidates interested in a career with AT&T Mobility are invited to apply
and interview from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at The
Hampton Inn -- 42 Mountain Drive in Colchester, Vermont. Vermont job openings
include but are not limited to wireless sales and sales management.
