The Company operates through three segments: Paints and surface coatings, Chemicals and All other. The Company's subsidiaries include Astra Holdings Limited and Astra Chemical (Private) Limited. Astra Holdings Limited comprises Astra Paints Division. Astra Paints Division is a paint and protective coatings manufacturer. Astra Chemical (Private) Limited is engaged in chemical trading and blending activities. Its products include industrial chemicals, potable alcohol and food chemicals, which are sold mainly to industrial manufacturers, as well as to alcohol distilling industries. The Company operates in three geographical areas, which include Harare, Bulawayo and Chiredzi.
