Associated Capital Group Bolsters its Finance & Accounting Team
Greenwich, Connecticut, January 6, 2021 - Associated Capital Group (NYSE:AC) announced today that it is strengthening its finance and accounting corporate team. The company welcomes Michael V. Kuhlman as Vice President and Controller and Patrick Huvane as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Development. They join Timothy H. Schott, the company's newly appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Kenneth Masiello, the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, as members of the firm's financial controls team within the management committee, also serving as corporate officers.
Mr. Kuhlman brings an extensive background in the asset management and financial services industries including over 18 years with affiliate GAMCO Investors as part of GAMCO's finance and controls professional team. Michael's work on behalf of group entities has included GAAP accounting and compliance, financial reporting, and special projects such as organizational tax planning and analysis.
Patrick Huvane will work with Associated Capital Group on special projects in finance and business development. Mr. Huvane has over 30 years of experience in financial accounting in the financial services sector, including serving as the Chief Financial Officer of affiliate Teton Advisors.
