ASML Holding NV said Friday that it has restarted production in parts of the buildings at its factory in Berlin, Germany, following a fire on Sunday.

The Dutch semiconductor supplier said that the fire was in one production building on the site and that smoke partly damaged an adjacent building.

ASML added that damage assessment is still progressing and that it will provide a further update alongside its 2021 earnings, which are due on Jan. 19.

ASML's Berlin site, part of its 2020 acquisition of Berliner Glas, manufactures components for lithography systems used to print patterns onto silicon wafers.
