Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) signed a definitive agreement to acquire ComputerLinks AG from Equistone Partners Europe Fund III managed by Equistone Partners Europe and management of ComputerLinks for approximately $290 million in cash on August 27, 2013. In 2012, ComputerLinks AG reported revenues of $1200 million. The acquisition is subject to regulatory relevant anti-trust authorities approvals. As of October 2, 2013, the transaction was approved by the EU Commission. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2013. The transaction is expected to be $.20 to $.24 accretive to earnings per share, excluding the impact of the amortization of related intangible assets, in the first year post closing.
