ARGENT MINERALS : BOARD UPDATE

Argent Minerals Limited (ASX: ARD, Argent, or the Company) wishes to advise that Mr. Peter Wall and Mr. Emmanuel Correia have resigned as Non-Executive Chairman and Non-Executive Director and Joint Company Secretary respectively, effective 5 March 2021.

Argent's CEO and Managing Director George Karageorge commented: 'On behalf of the Company and our major shareholders I would like to thank Mr Peter Wall and Mr Emmanuel Correia for their service to Argent Minerals. Both directors joined the Argent Board at a particularly difficult time, and they leave the Company with a clear corporate direction, an advanced exploration program and a robust balance sheet including over $4.5M in cash. Shareholders have enjoyed strong price appreciation during their tenure, and we thank the outgoing directors for their hard work, dedication and direction over the years and we wish them all the best in his future endeavours.'

The Board further advises that Non-Executive Director Mr Peter Michael, has been appointed as interim NonExecutive Chairman.

The NSW Kempfield Polymetallic project is located approximately 41 kilometers (km) to the south of Newcrestâs Cadia is Kempfield. The Copperhead Project is located approximately 300 km east-northeast of Carnarvon and 950 km north of Perth in Western Australia. The Mt Dudley Exploration License (EL) 5748 is located approximately five km northwest of the township of Trunkey, near Blayney in New South Wales. The Trunkey Creek Project is located over the township of Trunkey approximately 38 km southwest of Bathurst in New South Wales (NSW). The Pine Ridge Exploration License 8213 is located in an undulating region of the Central Tablelands in NSW.
