Chariot Top Group B.V. signed a preliminary agreement to acquire a portfolio of 28 retail properties in Poland from funds managed by Ares Management, L.P. (NYSE:ARES), Apollo-Rida Poland Sp. z o.o., and AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets in deal valued at €1 billion on December 4, 2017. The acquisition will be partially financed with approximately €635 million of bank debt provided by HSBC. Following the closing of the transaction the consortium including Chariot Top Group will re-sell a part of the portfolio to Echo Polska Properties.
