AOMI CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD., formerly KOKUSOU SAEKI CO., LTD., is a Japan-based construction company. The Company has two business segments. The Construction segment is engaged in the construction of offshore and inland civil engineering works, architectures, dredging and land reclamation, as well as the planning, design, construction, administration and consulting service provision for region, city and ocean development. The Company is also involved in the exploration and development of mineral resources, energy resources and marine resources. The Others segment is engaged in the sale of real estate. The Company has two subsidiaries. On February 19, 2009, the Company announced that it has filed for Chapter 11 filing (corporate reorganization proceedings) with Tokyo District Court.
