Anglo-Bomarc Mines Ltd. announced that it has acquired, the "Boston Bar Gold Project", a mineral property located approximately 200 kilometres to the ortheast of Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The other major towns in the area are Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Hope, located on Highway 1 (Trans- Canada Highway). The property consists of two placer claims covering approximately 41.66 hectares located in the Boston Bar area of southwestern British Columbia. Geologically, the property area is located in southwestern British Columbia, where the Fraser River is generally considered to be the boundary between the Cascade Mountains to the south and east and the Coast Range to the north and west. It is part of a major structure called the Hozameen fault zone and covers part of the Ladner group sediments of Jurassic age. This structure is also known as the Coquihalla-Serpentine gold belt and hosts several known lode gold occurrences and past-producing mines. The majority of the gold occurrences, including Carolin's Idaho zone gold deposit, are found east of the Hozameen fault zone in the Ladner slate formation and favour the greywacke unit. The company is planning to begin the exploration and development process.
