Andover Mining Corp. announced its assay results from the first drill hole of its 2012 drilling program on the SUN property located in the Ambler Mining District, Northwest Alaska. Drill hole SUN 12-29 was completed on June 21, 2012 at a depth of approximately 203 meters. The 2012 drill core was logged, split and boxed on site by Andover's geologists. Core from SUN 12-29 was shipped to the ALS-Chemex Prep Lab in Fairbanks, Alaska. The pulps from Fairbanks were analyzed for 35 elements at the ALS-Chemex facilities in Vancouver, British Columbia and the gold assays were performed at ALS-Chemex facilities in Reno, Nevada. Base metal over-limits were wet assayed. Blanks and standards were inserted with each sample shipment. Drill hole SUN 12-29 was the first drill hole of the 2012 drill program at the SUN property and tested the main SUN Deposit. Drilling continues on both the SUN Deposit and S.W. SUN Deposit.
