HAYWARD, CA, Jan. 15, 2019- AMETEK Surface Vision, a world leader in automated online surface inspection solutions, appointed Francois Levac as the Director of Sales to help strengthen and grow the company's global sales presence.

Formerly Manager of Sales for the Paper Industry in the Americas and Canada, Mr. Levac will support Surface Vision's existing customer base and grow new relationships by enhancing representation across North America and Latin America. Highly-experienced in understanding the quality challenges facing the metal, paper, plasticand non-woven production industries, Mr. Levac and his team will improve access to Surface Vision's world-leading SmartView^®and SmartAdvisor^® solutions for surface inspection, monitoring and process surveillance applications.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering based in Montréal, Canada, Mr. Levac has a successful track record in industrial technology sales spanning 20 years. Prior to joining AMETEK Surface Vision, he held a variety of successful roles with Cognex, Honeywell and Honeywell-Measurex.
