Geoff Trumbull to join AMA Group as Group Chief Financial Officer

AMA Group Limited (ASX: AMA) (AMA Group) is pleased to announce that Geoff Trumbull has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of AMA Group.

Geoff has extensive executive experience, and joins AMA Group from ASX listed, Transurban Group (Transurban) where he was General Manager Finance / Regional CFO for Transurban's NSW operations. This role also encompassed the CFO role for WestConnex, a joint venture operated by Transurban with an enterprise value of approximately $30 billion. Geoff's role included a wide range of responsibilities, spanning Board and investor interface, participation and leadership in debt restructuring and fundraising activities, business planning and financial reporting. During his time at Transurban, Geoff also led the WestConnex corporate integration and managed Transurban's Group corporate finance and Victorian regional finance functions.

Geoff is a senior business leader with over 15 years' experience in corporate advisory and finance leadership roles across the infrastructure, industrial and consumer sectors including Melbourne Airport and BlueScope Steel Limited. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, is a member of CPA Australia, is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Geoff will join AMA Group in February 2022. Darren Basford, Interim Group CFO will remain with AMA Group throughout the half year 2022 results period to ensure an orderly transition.
