Airgain, Inc. Appoints Farrukh Usmani as Vice President of Engineering

Airgain, Inc. announced the appointment of Farrukh Usmani as Vice President of Engineering. With over 20 years of executive management experience, Mr. Usmani will be responsible for the company’s global engineering team. Prior to joining Airgain, Usmani held several high profile engineering positions at Qualcomm, where he most recently served as a vice president in the consumer technologies, ASIC system test, reference design and Atheros divisions, and spearheaded new technologies and product development processes. In addition to heading engineering, Usmani will oversee all research and development initiatives across the organization, driving the company’s technology roadmap and development of next-generation wireless technologies.
Airgain, Inc. is a provider of wireless connectivity solutions, offering a range of embedded components, external antennas, and integrated systems worldwide. The Companyâs enterprise products include embedded cellular modems, antennas for access points and Internet of Things applications, and asset trackers. Its consumer products include embedded antennas for consumer access points, wireless gateways, smart home devices and fixed wireless access devices. The Companyâs automotive products include aftermarket antennas that are typically connected to third-party cellular and Wi-Fi-enabled routers, digital video evidence devices, and telematics gateways.
