Air New Zealand General Manager Global Brand and Content Marketing Jodi Williams says it was great to shoot the safety video in Central Otago, Dunedin and Balclutha, and have so many locals keen to take part.

'It's Kiwi Safety is the largest scale safety video Air New Zealand has ever produced, with a 600-strong cast. As well as talent from 30 community groups across the country, the video stars well-known Kiwi actor Julian Dennison, local musicians Kings, Theia and Randa. It also features a number of Air New Zealanders including cabin crew, pilots, engineers, loaders and airline staff from Dunedin Airport.'

'All involved in our safety video shoot in the South Island brought great energy to the various shoots and it was a fantastic experience bringing together local legends, alongside some well-known and up-and-coming New Zealand talent. At one stage we had 300 people on set in Naseby - tripling the population of the small town!'
