Utilizing the "Corporate Forestation Support Program" based on the " Act on Advancement of Forest Maintenance Backed by Green Fund," ACOM has been implementing "ACOM Forest," a forest conservation activity in Kanagawa Prefecture for the purpose of reducing greenhouse gases and preserving biodiversity.
In order to expand its activity, ACOM is proud to announce the participation in the Osaka Prefecture's Adopt-a-Forest Program.

1. Purpose of the Activity
One of our materiality is to "promote environment-friendly corporate activities." As a member of society, ACOM would not only make effective use of limited resources and reduce the environmental impact of our corporate activities, but also actively engage in environmental conservation activities as a social contribution activity.
By implementing employee-participatory forest conservation activities in Kanagawa and Osaka prefectures, where our contact centers are located, we are contributing to environmental conservation and fostering a sense of participation in social contribution and interest in the environment among our employees.
2. Outline of the Osaka Adopt-a-Forest Program
The Adopt-a-Forest is a program in which Osaka Prefecture acts as an intermediary between

companies who wish to participate in forest development and forest owners, and aims to convert neglected artificial forests, bamboo forests, and other devastated forests into broadleaf forests.
Parties to an Agreement: Osaka Prefecture, Shijonawate City, Nawate Yamamori-Tai (Nawate Mountain Guard), and ACOM
(Nawate Mountain Guard is a leading organization of this activity in Shijonawate City)
Term of an Agreement: February 10th, 2022 to February 9th, 2026 (4 years)
Place: "Fureai no Mori" in Shijonawate City
ACOM will consider the content of future activities while giving due consideration to the safety of participants.
(Reference) Forest Conservation Activities "ACOM Forest" in Kanagawa Prefecture
ACOM agreed with the purpose of the "50-year plan for reforestation in Kanagawa" and participate in volunteer forestation activities as a reforestation partner.

Term of an Agreement: April 16, 2021 to April 15, 2026 (5 years)
Place: Prefectural 21st Century Forest (Minami Ashigara City)
On June 5, 2022, about 20 of our employees pruned trees.
